While trying to hide rows and columns by use of the "Suppress zeroes" function rows and columns are not hidden despite the fact that they contain only zeros.

The IBM Cognos TM1 Operations Console is an optional component that was introduced in version 10.1 of TM1. This component lets administrators generate logs and manage and monitor activities on multiple TM1 servers.

The IBM Cognos TM1 Operations Console provides the basic server monitoring functionality provided by the TM1Top utility with some important additions. For example, the Health feature allows for instant feedback on the current state of servers.

This exercise demonstrates how to configure the Operations Console. It also outlines some of the basic functionality of the tool, such as the ability to add multiple TM1 servers.

  

This exercise is a modified excerpt from the IBM Cognos TM1: Administer the Technical Environment (V10.1) training manual. In this example, all of the TM1 components are installed to a single computer called VCLASSBASE. The exercise uses sample TM1 servers that come installed with the product.

Users are unable to login. TM1 server appears to be hung. ?

In IBM© Cognos© TM1© Performance Modeler, it is possible to use a member with a pick list applied as a virtual dimension in a Link. However, if the pick list was not originally set in the Performance Modeler dimension editor (e.g. if it was set in Server Explorer, or through a view of a control cube in Performance Modeler), the pick list member will not be available for use as a virtual dimension in the Link editor.

Error (80040154) when opening web sheets. An error occured while converting MS Excel book into xml.

When you attempt to open a Node within TM1 Contributor, it fails with : Server Error in '/' Application. Resource cannot be found (/TM1Web/contributor.aspx).

Receive following error when opening TM1 Architect: C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\tm1_64\tm1a.exe The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail.

TM1 10 Tip #3
One of the features that people will want to explore first in TM1 10 is the ability to include tm1web sheets within a contributor application.It may not be obvious but you cannot open these applications within Cognos Insight.By default your application is set to use the client, tm1web, Cognos Insight - Connected and Cognos Insight - Distributed.If you try to deploy your application with a websheet and have NOT changed these default client settings then your deploy will fail.You have to select that application in modeller and on the properties you will need to deselect Cognos Insight - Connected and Cognos Insight - Distributed.
